About Patricia Guenther & PLG Bookkeeping Services Ltd

From a young age, Founder Patricia Guenther has always had a passion for numbers. Growing up loving math, she naturally pursued accounting and enrolled at Herzing College at 18 to deepen her knowledge and prepare for a career in the field.

Patricia’s bookkeeping journey truly began when she started dating her now husband. As he launched his own business, Patricia was fortunate to receive hands-on training from a Certified Professional Accountant, sparking a deep love for bookkeeping.

Her early career included working as a junior accountant at a car dealership in Altona, where she gained valuable experience. After moving to Winnipeg in 2019, Patricia took on the role of bookkeeper for an aviation company. When the pandemic impacted the aviation industry, she adapted by joining a public practice accounting firm, further expanding her expertise.

In 2021, Patricia incorporated PLG Bookkeeping Services Ltd and began building her business part-time while continuing to work full-time at the firm. By September 2022, she made the decision to focus entirely on PLG Bookkeeping Services, dedicating herself fully to supporting her clients.

Committed to professional growth, Patricia pursued further education through the Knowledge Bureau. In November 2024, she proudly earned the DMA for Accounting Services Specialist designation.

Today, Patricia works closely with Certified Professional Accountants and provides personalized bookkeeping services to businesses throughout Winnipeg and beyond. At PLG Bookkeeping, she is dedicated to helping clients manage their finances confidently so they can focus on growing their businesses.
